
Johnathan earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from UNC-School of the Arts. Also trained in piano, guitar, music theory and composition, Johnathan has worked with the Piedmont Opera Theatre, The Opera Company of North Carolina, Magnolia Baroque Festival, Gardner Webb University and numerous community organizations. He has received recognition from NATS, Dover Foundation and Fiestaval National Choral Competition, where he was awarded Best Soloist. Johnathan scored mutiple films and plays, including the Walk in the Park production of “Queen’s Gambit, and “Wolf Stories,” a musical for children premiered at Easley Foothills Playhouse in February of 2003.” Johnathan has played throughout the Southeast as a singer-songwriter, as well as having been a part of New Radio Empire, Myriad, and The Dextrous Lizards.
